Baby First Food

So my little boy turned 6 months old in the month of November.
He has since achieved so many milestones!!

Lifting tummy off the ground
Mini Push-Ups
Attempting to crawl - Moving around our whole bed
First solid food!!

Daddy and Mummy are both proud of you!!

My little toothy had his first 2 milk teeth at 4 months old, a tad too early!! Signs that he is ready for first food!

Ever since baby Gervais's birth, I have been waiting for this day, to make delicious and healthy food for him!!

A few weeks into his birth, I've already bought a food processor to prepare for his first solid. Other than breast milk, it is important that babies have other nutrients from other food sources. Of course, you have to wait til your baby is 6 months and above to start.

Excited that he finally hit the 6 months mark. Guess his first food !

Yummy apple for first 2 days, followed by buttery avocado!!

I got CuisinArt baby after reading that many reviews about food processors for babies. Actually you can make do with normal food processor at home, but I don't have one, so I got it in the end. It's fairly easy to use, steaming the apples and then purée them!!

Initially he keeps giving me a face when I fed him his first mouthfuls, didn't managed to finish the purée I made. Just look at his face

The second feed of purée, he actually finished the whole bowl! Satisfied baby, happy mummy. Puréed 2 apples and made 6 servings of purée. You can store them in baby food storage and freeze them like breast milk and thaw them when you're ready to feed. It's easy and fun to be preparing food for your little one!

My frozen avocado!

Having a little drink after his avocado! Hehe
